Aligning our core beliefs and values

Bimbola Tayo-Bamidele

If peace will not elude us, we must align with our core values and beliefs. If we feel pressured or forced to do certain things or live in a certain way, we will not be at peace within ourselves, and this will affect every other thing we get involved in. Some of the issues we have are not the real problems; they are just an offshoot of a deeper one.

Can we just take a break from everything around us and just have some me time to help US get reconciled with US?
Every other thing can wait (They will sort themselves out if we drop dead today; God forbid anyway)

This is a sure cure for overwhelming feelings of bewilderment.

Maybe we have to reorganize our lives and reorder our priorities. Maybe we have to evaluate our current choices and do a review of past decisions. Maybe we just need a break from the busyness of our daily activities, and take a look at how things really are and how they should be.
Whatever it takes, it is wisdom to give it now and not wait until we burn out or till things fall apart. Right there at the level or stage we are now, we can have a deep sense of contentment and fulfilment.

We don't have to always feel stressed and miserable; nothing should make us feel so except we choose to.
God always has a way out in every situation; if we ask Him, we will find it.

I pray for God's wisdom for you and I.
Happy Sunday, sisters.

Have a great time in Church...
