Can He Save?

Good morning.

As I headed out of the house this morning, the Holy Spirit asked me a question I'll like to share with you. Please answer for yourself!

He led me to Daniel 6. The conspiracy against Daniel was STRONG. Persian presidents and princes gathered against him and got the King to enact a law just to fight Daniel. Why were these presidents and princes against Daniel? Daniel was one of the 3 presidents that Dairus identified and the princes reported to him and the other two presidents. The king was thinking of setting Daniel over the whole realm, perhaps a Senior President...THERE WAS PROMOTION AHEAD...SELAH!

I find it noteworthy that Daniel, a public official, was so faithful that no error or fault was found in him. He had 'an excellent spirit'; we have the Holy Spirit. What was that your excuse again? Lol...

The princes and presidents gathered together and attacked Daniel with respect to the 'law of his God'. Daniel's response to that attack stirs me! He launched a counter-attack! He did not go about crying about how he was being persecuted; he didn't go and beg the king; he didn't cower and comply with that ungodly law (Doing so would have given the enemies a door to get their way, remember their goal was to stop Daniel's promotion).

"Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime." (Daniel 6:10).

Daniel DEFIED the law of the land! He chose to stay with law of his God against the ungodly law of Persia...The battle line was drawn...

For a period, it seemed like Daniel's enemies had prevailed over him...My pastor shared with me how you have need of patience after you have done the will of God in order to obtain the promise (Hebrews 10:36). The lions needed to be kept hungry enough to devour the 120 princes, the other 2 presidents and their family members...Lol!

I also find it interesting that Dairus fasted through the night for Daniel; I'll keep chewing on this...

Dairus got up early in the morning and his number one priority was to get to the den of lions. I pray that those that have a part to play in ending your wait will make haste to play their part and end the wait as at when due, in Jesus' Name. Dairus asked Daniel a question that morning; that is the same question the Holy Spirit asked me this morning...

"...O Adenike, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest CONTINUALLY, able to deliver thee from the lions?" (Daniel 6:20).

For me, there are 2 questions to ask-

1. Are you serving God CONTINUALLY (not off and on)?

2. Do you believe God is able to deliver you from this strong conspiracy that God allowed so the enemies can be thoroughly defeated and the wickedness of the wicked will come to an end?

May the Lord help us all remain faithful witnesses to His truth for it is He that works in us both to will and to do...

Have a blessed and productive day ahead.
